General kookiness-and Molly, we forgot to introduce you to Lovie!-so these are for you...

Little Martha setting up for her playdate with no prompting from moms. She counted the guests, brought in extra chairs from the garage, set the table, and made place cards. One friend's little brother was coming over and we didn't remember his name, but Scarlett knew he was 3 yrs old so she wrote "3" on his place card.

Shavuot:

Last week at shavuot study my favorite topic was the melding of creativity and boundaries.
With any discipline one learns the boundaries, or the rules before getting creative. How do I/we apply that Torah. Do we need to learn to follow the "rules" in order to break them? Which rules? This is something I'd been thinking about before Shavuot and enjoyed the discussion if only to realize that it's a universal struggle.
