Groovy, kid friendly, new basement level at the conservatory

So Zeke  has been asserting his independence lately and yesterday afternoon he gave his  hair a little trim. We're trying so hard not to make a big deal out of it, hence no picture, but it's really quite funny and his once fuzzy head is now scratchy.

So excited to have this new place to record the cuddliness of family life and the excitement of felt, baking, crafty, natury stuff! I've tried notebooks and scrapbooks, but there is something about this new mac desktop and a cup of (weak) coffee in the morning that just makes me reflect. 

After spending the past few weeks preparing for my new teaching job I got crafty and made a felt heart garland. Everything seemed so much better with a little felt over the mantle last night...
